March–May
Late April through May is the strongest all-round window: warm enough for island day trips, cool enough to walk the Plaka and Acropolis without wilting.

June–August
Only worth it if you front-load sightseeing at opening time (8am) and treat afternoons as pool or ferry time; hotel prices and cruise-ship crowds both peak, and the Acropolis has occasionally closed midday during extreme heatwaves.
